This Ramadan we supported two worthy local causes in the community. One being the MWC Women Shelter in Whitby. The other being Naseeha Youth Helpline Service. Funds were raised by the professionals attending the event. We were honoured to have Mississauga Mayor, Her Worship Bonnie Crombie attend as well as members of the community in attendance. The Ramadan Iftaar of Intent is our signature event which was held in partnership with CAMP Toronto. At this event, Omair Butt was voted in to be the new President and Yusra Chaudhry as Treasurer. Co-Executive Directors Urz Heer & Nosheen Warsi will be tasked to look for opportunities to serve the community segments including women, youth and newcomers via grants and funding opportunities.
