CAMP Toronto executive leaders and dedicated members came together to help in this humanitarian cause to raise money for those affected by the Tsunami.
Over 12,000 was raised through fundraising efforts which took place at the IMO, Toronto location.
The cheque was presented to the Indonesian Consulate office.
This devastating disaster was what lead to the creation of CAMP Cares for Communities an offshoot of CAMP Toronto to help in charitable work locally and around the world.
The organization led by Urz Heer, Shireen Khan, Billal Qureshi, Nosheen Warsi, Iffat Syed and Sameer Akhtar who later became directors of the charitable organization was just the beginning of annual efforts to come.
