It is imperative for all people to come together to help those who need aid.
1/5th of Pakistan and over 12M people are affected by the floods. That is more than Indonesia's tsunami, Pakistan earthquake and Haiti combined. While we've raised much money for all of these disasters, we urge people to come together to help again.
During this blessed month, please consider giving, even if you are not able to attend.
Our charitable of choice is Islamic Relief Canada, IRC (a 4 star charity per the Charity Navigator and a charitable endorsed by Prince Charles). Islamic Relief has waived all administrative fees, so all moneys collected will go directly to the people affected.
Funds raised through IRC will also be matched by the Canadian government as IRC is on the list of approved charities.

Mail your cheques even if you can't attend.
Attn: Islamic Relief Canada (8 Brambank Cres, Brampton, ON, L7A 1T9). It will be added to the total funds raised (pls send them by Sept 1st if possible, however those cheques sent after will also be added)

Thank you for opening up your hearts and your pockets to helping those in need.
